Intellectual Property Rights

Trusty Transporters LLC and/or its licensors own all intellectual property rights and materials on this website. You are granted a limited license for the sole purpose of viewing the material on this website.

Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, it shall not affect the remaining provisions.

Variation of Terms

Trusty Transporters LLC may revise these Terms at any time, and your continued use of the website signifies your agreement with the updated Terms.

Assignment

Trusty Transporters LLC may assign, transfer, or subcontract its rights and obligations under these Terms without notice. You may not assign, transfer, or subcontract any of your rights and obligations under these Terms.

Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between Trusty Transporters LLC and you regarding your use of this website, superseding all prior agreements and understandings.

Governing Law & Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Georgia, and you submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Illinois for dispute resolution.

Parent or Legal Guardian Agreement Form

The Following is an agreement to the financial and operational policies of Trusty Transporters LLC.  Policies are subject to change at management’s discretion upon written notice.

This is an agreement between Trusty Transporters LLC, and the parent(s) or legal guardian who have signed below. Under this agreement you agree to pay Trusty Transporters LLC to transport your student to and from school in accordance with the terms provided in this agreement.

1. Payments/Fees: Payments are due on Friday prior to the selected pay schedule at the start of the service week.  A $15 late fee will be charged for any late payments (paid after 11:59 pm on Friday).  Auto-drafts can be set up by creating a login at www.trustytransporters.com and choosing the "Pay" tab.  Stripe, Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, and Cash are also accepted. Failure to stay current with your bi-weekly or monthly transportation fees will result in the loss of your student's seat with Trusty Transporters LLC. If you default, Trusty Transporters LLC is entitled to all remedies as prescribed by law, including attorney's fees. Payment is due in full in the event of absence, sickness, or inclement weather cancellations of any kind. We follow district schedules and will not operate in inclement weather, (if closed schools).  50% of tuition will be charged if inclement weather closes schools for 5 days or longer. A registration fee of $25 is due at the time of sign-up.  A $25 fee is due at the end of the school year to secure your child's spot for the following school year. There is a 5 minute waiting time from the time of dismissal for students to get in the vehicle, as children from other schools are waiting. Regular riders are required to pay their regular rate for all regular school days regardless if your child rides or not. Spring Break, Summer Break, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break will be adjusted to reflect the week(s) in school at your normal rate. In the event of a school shutdown, Trusty Transporters LLC will charge for 4 weeks at 50% normal tuition.

2. Cancellations/Schedule Changes:  We require a two week cancellation notice.  If you cancel with less than two weeks notice, a $20 cancellation fee will be charged along with one week of tuition. Please email any schedule change requests as soon as possible to getaride@trustytransporters.com. Trusty Transporters LLC will work to accommodate any change and will contact you for confirmation that the change has been processed. Changes are subject to availability and may result in additional fees.  Please call 770-679-7074 prior to 1 pm for any same day pick up requests. It is the parents responsibility to inform the school that Trusty Transporters LLC will be picking up your child. Communication is of the utmost importance to ensure your child has a ride.

3. PICK UP/DROP OFF: MORNING PICK UP:  It is important for your child to be ready at their pick up time in order to get to school on time. Our drivers will wait approximately 5 minutes for your child to come to our designated pickup location, at this time we will work to ensure the door is locked.  If your child does not come within 5 minutes, the driver will need to leave to finish their route as other children are waiting.  

AFTERNOON PICK UP:  It is the parent's responsibility to notify the school that their child will be riding with Trusty Transporters LLC. Our drivers work with each school for the location of pick up. The designated pick up location will be provided by email before registration is complete.  All riders will be waiting together to get on the vehicle.  Elementary schools picked up locations will be provided by the school.  Middle and High School students need to be ready in the front of the designated meeting area.  We will wait 5 minutes after the first bell.  If your student is not ready, we will leave to finish our route.  

4. SAFETY IN THE VEHICLES: All students must wear a safety belt at all times. Standing when the vehicle is in motion, fighting, arguing, or physical contact with another passenger is not tolerated.  We reserve the right to terminate shuttle rides for disruptive students and students refusing to wear a seatbelt. You agree that Trusty Transporters LLC will not be legally responsible for any injuries in the case of an accident if you or your student is injured due to failure to wear a seat belt, remove a seat belt, or is standing at the time of an accident. We reserve the right to terminate shuttle rides for disruptive students/parents and students refusing to wear a seatbelt.

5. LOST ARTICLES:  Trusty Transporters LLC is not responsible for any lost or stolen personal articles or devices left in the vehicle.  Please notify Trusty Transporters LLC immediately if your student has left his/her item in the vehicle and we will use our best efforts to find and return the item the following day.

6.  DAMAGE TO THE VEHICLE & INJURIES TO OTHER RIDERS OR PROPERTY: The Parent/Guardian is responsible for any damage to the vehicle or injuries to other riders or other third parties caused by his or her child or any baggage, parcels, or other property brought in the Vehicle by his or her child. The Parent/Guardian shall indemnify and hold harmless Trusty Transporters LLC and its affiliates, owners, officers, directors, employees and/or agents from any and all claims, suits, actions, damages, and/or causes of action for injuries or property damage that was caused by his or her Student or any baggage, parcels, or other property brought on board or transported on the Vehicle by the Student, and from and against all costs, counsel fees, expenses and liabilities incurred in and about the defense of any such claim and the investigation thereof.  The cost of repairs and related expenses resulting from acts of your student shall be assessed and billed to the Parent/Guardian and are payable immediately upon billing.  This shall include a clean up fee for riders that get sick during transport.

7. TERMINATION OF SERVICES:  A two week notice is required in order to terminate this agreement.  If you do not provide two weeks notice a $25 termination fee will be applied along with one week's tuition.  Any outstanding balance is due at termination including any fees.

8. VIDEO/PHOTO RELEASE:  Trusty Transporters we want to reassure you that our shuttle buses are equipped with cameras solely for safety purposes. Your child's well-being is our priority, and these cameras help ensure a secure transportation environment.

9. REQUIREMENTS PERTAINING TO COLDS and ILLNESSES: It is Trusty Transporters LLC's priority to keep your children safe and healthy.  If your child is not feeling well, it is your responsibility to keep them home. Trusty Transporters LLC driver is required to take each student's temperature prior to entering the van. If your child has a temperature of 99 degrees or higher, we will not transport your student to his/her location. Trusty Transporters LLC will notify you immediately.

Assumption of the Risk and Waiver of Liability Relating to Coronavirus/COVID-19

The novel coronavirus, COVID-19, has been declared a worldwide pandemic by the World Health Organization. COVID-19 is extremely contagious and is believed to spread mainly from person-to-person contact. As a result, federal, state, and local governments and federal and state health agencies recommend social distancing and have, in many locations, prohibited the congregation of groups of people. Applicant is fully aware of the current pandemic and the inherent risks involved.

Trusty Transporters LLC (referred to here as “the Business”) has put in place preventative measures to reduce the spread of COVID-19; however, we cannot guarantee that you will not become infected with COVID-19.  Further, like any public place, could increase your risk of contracting COVID-19.

By signing this agreement:

_______ I acknowledge the contagious nature of COVID-19 and voluntarily assume the risk that I may be exposed to or infected by COVID-19 by visiting or coming on to the Business’ property and that such exposure or infection may result in personal injury, illness, permanent disability, and/or death.

_____ I understand that the risk of becoming exposed to or infected by COVID-19 at the Business may result from the actions, omissions, or negligence of myself and others, including, but not limited to, the Business’ employees, volunteers, and program participants and their families.

_____ I voluntarily agree to assume all of the foregoing risks and accept sole responsibility for any injury to myself or children for (including, but not limited to, personal injury, disability, and death), illness, damage, loss, claim, liability, or expense, of any kind, that I may experience or incur in connection with my attendance or presence at the Business or participation in the Business’ programming, events, or appointments (“Claims”).

______ I hereby release, covenant not to sue, discharge, and hold harmless the Business, its employees, agents, and representatives, of and from the Claims, including all liabilities, claims, actions, damages, costs or expenses of any kind arising out of or relating thereto.

______ I understand and agree that this release includes any Claims based on the actions, omissions, or negligence of the Business, its employees, agents, and representatives, whether a COVID-19 infection occurs before, during, or after participation in any Business program, event, or appointment.

Policies and Procedures

  1. All students MUST wear a safety belt at all times. Standing when the vehicle is in motion, fighting, arguing, or physical contact with another passenger is not tolerated.  We reserve the right to terminate shuttle rides for disruptive students and students refusing to wear a seatbelt. 

  2. If your child is not feeling well, goes home early, or is absent from school please notify Trusty Transporters immediately at getaride@trustytransporters.com or 770-679-7074.  To protect the safety of other students we will not transport any children displaying any virus symptoms and will contact you, the parent, immediately.

  3. Your child will be assigned a specific driver but any of our drivers may transport your child.  All drivers go through a thorough background check and drug test.  We have a zero tolerance policy. 

Payments

  1. A non-refundable $25.00 registration fee is required at the time of registration payable to Trusty Transporters LLC.

  2. A $25 fee is due at the end of the school year to secure your child's spot for the following school year.

  3. Payments are paid in advance - due on Friday of selected pay schedule week. (Any payment received after 11:59 pm on Friday will be charged a 15.00 late fee.) No transportation service will be rendered until payment is received.

  4. An invoice will be sent bi-weekly or monthly depending on your frequency of payment.

  5. Payment will be made for all school days.  

  6. Should a student not ride any day of the week, full payment is still due.

  7. We accept the following payment methods for bi-weekly and tuition:
          Paypal, Zelle, Venmo, Cash App, or Cash.

  8. Payments made by cash must be in a sealed envelope. (Be sure to include your child's name and school).

  9. Spring Break, Summer Break, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break will be adjusted to reflect the week(s) in school at your normal rate.

Cancellation

A two week's advance notice must be given when terminating service. A $20 cancellation fee is charged along with one week's tuition if two weeks notice is not given.
