Policies and Procedures

1. All students MUST wear a safety belt at all times. Standing when the vehicle is in motion, fighting, arguing, or physical contact with another passenger is not tolerated.  We reserve the right to terminate shuttle rides for disruptive students and students refusing to wear a seatbelt.

2. If your child is not feeling well, goes home early, or is absent from school please notify Trusty Transporters immediately at getaride@trustytransporters.com or 770-679-7074. To protect the safety of other students we will not transport any children displaying any virus symptoms and will contact, you, the parent, immediately.

3. Your child will be assigned a specific driver but any of our drivers may transport your child. All drivers go through a thorough background check and drug test. We have a zero tolerance policy.

4. To keep you informed and connected, we have implemented a parent-driver communication app that provides real-time updates on arrival and departure times. This app will allow you to track the bus’s location and receive notifications about any delays or changes in schedule. Your peace of mind is important to us, and we believe this tool will enhance communication and ensure a seamless experience. We are on GroupMe, where you can connect with other parents, share information, and stay updated on school transportation matters.

Payments:

1. A non-refundable $25.00 registration fee is required per child at the time of registration is payable to Trusty Transporters LLC.

2. Registration fee payment will reserve your seat, membership dues paid in full will secure your child(ren) seat. Full payment is due in 3 days.

3. A $25 fee is due at the end of the school year to secure your child's spot for the following school year.

4. Payments are paid in advance - due on the Friday prior of selected pay schedule week.  (Any payment received after 11:59 pm on Friday will be charged a 15.00 late fee.) No transportation service will be rendered until payment is received. 

5. Parents will be provided with a link for payment for weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly depending on your frequency of payment.

6. Payment will be made for all school days.  

7. Should a student not ride any day of the week, full payment is still due.

8. We accept the following payment methods for bi-weekly and tuition:
        Debit/Credit Cards, ACH Bank, and Cash App.

9. Spring Break, Summer Break, Thanksgiving Break, Christmas Break will be adjusted to reflect the week(s) in school at your normal rate.

Cancellation:​

A two week's advance notice must be given when terminating service.

A $20 cancellation fee is charged along with one week's tuition if two weeks notice is not given.

WHAT IS TRUSTY TRANSPORTERS?

Trusty Transporters is a "curb to curb" private transportation service specializing in student transportation.

WHAT AREAS DOES TRUSTY TRANSPORTERS SERVICE?

Trusty Transporters currently serves schools in Alpharetta, Roswell, Sandy Springs, Johns Creek, and Milton, Georgia, with a centralized pick-up and drop-off location. Contact us to check if we serve your children's school or to request service expansion.

DOES TRUSTY TRANSPORTERS OFFER A SIBLING DISCOUNT?

Yes, in some cases we provide a 50% discount for each additional sibling riding from the same school.

IS TRUSTY TRANSPORTERS SAFE?

Safety is our top priority. All drivers undergo thorough background checks and drug tests. Our vehicles are sanitized after every route, and hand sanitizer is provided upon entry. Masks are optional while inside the vehicle.

IS A CONTRACT REQUIRED?

No, a contract is not required, but agreeing to our policy is necessary to begin service.

HOW DOES MY STUDENT IDENTIFY YOU UPON PICKUP?

Our vehicles display a company logo. Notify the school that your child rides with Trusty Transporters. We can also arrange virtual meetings with parents and students, and a welcome email with the driver's photo is sent upon service initiation.

HOW DO I KNOW MY STUDENT ARRIVES SAFELY?

Drivers wait until your child enters the home or drop-off location before leaving. You receive a message confirming the drop-off. We are on GroupMe for our parent groups for parent-driver communication app that provides real-time updates on arrival and departure times. This app will allow you to track the bus’s location and receive notifications about any delays or changes in schedule.

DOES MY CHILD HAVE TO RIDE 5 DAYS A WEEK?

No, we offer flexible pick-up and drop-off options based on seat availability.

CAN I CANCEL ANYTIME?

We require a two-week cancellation notice. Sudden cancellations incur a $20 fee along with one week of tuition.

HOW ARE YOU PROTECTING AGAINST COVID?

Vehicles are disinfected after every route and equipped with hand sanitizer, masks, tissues, and thermometers.
